Sweet Ecstasy in Metro Manila

"Came for late dinner. Most of dishes are on the expensive side for a roadside restaurant. Few tables, they look like they're focused on deliveries so if you're planning on eating here as a big group consider this first. I ordered the cheeseburger. It took about 30 mins for me get my food. Even though I wanted to dine in, they made my order to go. My burger is still warm though, abeit quite damp. The burger tastes pretty good. The patty is very juicy and seasoned alright. The buns are soggy - not good. The caramellized onions are tasty so are the cheese. The portions are kinda not that worth it, order something more unique like their peanut butter burger for the novelty. All in all, needs mustard and I dropped some tomato on my shirt."

"Solidly good burger - nothing too crazy special in my opinion, but reliable and tasty. Seating is outside only, with a sink which is very convenient. No wait though when we came! Also ordered the fried jalapeño slices which I WOULD RECOMMEND for sure. Pickled jalapeños were a super light and crispy batter and a garlic aioli (?) sauce which was DELICIOUS and cut the grease from the burger. May come again to try other things - recommend the cheeseburger over the grilled cheese burger (just overall too heavy cause no veggies inside)"

"Visited the original Sweet Ecstasy branch and tried the Double Burger and Grilled Cheeseburger. Both were excellent, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Grilled Cheeseburger, made of two grilled sandwiches stacked with a patty and cheese, was especially satisfying and unique. The garlic aioli and caramelized onions made it better. Also ordered onion rings on the side; they were okay, but not the best I’ve tried, I find it lacking in taste without the condiments. No waiting time for tables during our visit since there was only one other diner aside from us but it took time for our order to be served. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth visiting for their burgers!"

"Burgers were the best, patties were juicy and the buns were soft and fluffy. The flavors were true to description. Id skip on the wings and onion rings, there are better ones out there. Prices are too expensive tho for a non air conditioned road side restaurant. If you're a big, consider the limited seats available. There were like five 4-seater tables."

"Very very good, tasty, moist and hot double double cheeseburger. The OG. I wasn't happy with my lunch at a nearby place so we came literally after lunch. Great timing sweet X wasn't busy."

"The Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger with extra patty - I added an extra patty to balance the bread to meat ratio. It was too bready before, but now it's just right. It's meaty and cheesy. Great burger. The Double with raw onions - of all the burgers I've tried in Manila, this is the closest that reminds me of the burgers back in the states. It's 2 ground beef patties seasoned only with salt, seared properly, topped with lettuce, tomato, raw onions, and dressing, on a regular bun. They're not trying to be fancy nor they're trying to be cute. It's basic double cheese burger. They do it right and they do it well. The dining area looks basic but what matters is, it is clean. The tables and chairs were not oily. There's a sink nearby with soap. The CR was well lit and clean. The staff were nice and polite."
